Poueyferré. Re-educating through listening
The method developed by Alfred Tomatis is a sound-based therapy that aims to remedy all difficulties of listening and learning, and to stimulate the intellectual capacities: concentration, memorisation, expression, through work on the ear and on the voice. These “sonic cures” would also allow a greater openness to the world and to others. The Tomatis method is suited to children, because while they listen to the sounds, they can carry out manual and artistic activities.
Martine Renous, invited by the association Premiers Pas, presented this method and the sonic cure. People present who had tried the method for their children testified to its benefits.
